The 2nd General Assembly Meeting will take place at the site of our project partner Sanofi.

 

Start:              2:00pm - 25th October 2017

End:                1:00pm - 27th October 2017

Poster and break-out session

In the afternoon of the 26th, there will be a poster session for which we would like to encourage all partners to bring scientific posters (format A0, portrait). The posters will be on display throughout the meeting.

 

Additionally, there will be break-out sessions for work package 3 and workpackage 2 + 4 (jointly) organized separately by the work package leads.

 

Dinners

Two conference dinners have been arranged

 

  • on 25th October at 7:30pm in Gentilly at restaurant "Aux Foudres de Bacchus"
  • on 26th October at 8:00pm, most likely at restaurant in the city centre

 

The first restaurant is within walking distance of the Sanofi site and the hotel. For the second night, transport will be arranged.

 

Hotel

We have reserved a contingent of 60 rooms for €90,- (incl. VAT) per person per night (single occupancy including breakfast) at the Hôtel Ibis Paris Porte d'Italie, which is located 15min walk from the meeting site.

 

Cancellation is free until 29th September after which charges do apply. For cancellations less than 7 days before the meeting the full amount will be charged.

 

Early check-in is available at a surcharge of €20,-. Alternatively, luggage can be stored at the Sanofi site.

 

Please arrange your own accommodation by sending an email to Ms Lucie Ginfray, detailing the nights you want to reserve and using the following booking code: 991122. Please provide your credit card information in the email.

 

There is limited capacity at the Hôtel Ibis Paris Porte d'Italie and we strongly recommend to make your booking before the 28th July 2017!
After this date, room availability cannot be guaranteed.

 

Partner will have to cover the costs for their travel and accommodation from their own budget.

 

 

Transport

 

From Charles-de Gaulle Airport:
Take suburban train RER B (every 10-20min) in the direction of "Massy Palaiseau" and exit at stop "Gentilly" (travel time ca. 50min).

 

From Orly Airport:
Take the "orly val" in the direction of "Antony" and exit at "Antony". Change to suburban train RER B in the direction of "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle" and exit at stop "Gentilly" (total travel time ca. 35min).

From other locations in Paris:
Please visit the journey planner of RATP.

 

Both the Sanofi site and the hotel are ca. 10-15min walk from stop "Gentilly". There is also bus line 57 leaving from rue d'Arcueil close to the hotel into the direction of "Laplace RER" (4 stops, exit at rue Albert Schweitzer for Sanofi site, entrance through 80 Avenue Raspail).

Security advice

To enter the site, you have to be a registered participant of the meeting and present a valid ID at reception.

We therefore cannot accept any late registrations even by email!

Please note that your bags will be searched upon entering the Sanofi site as part of the security procedure.
